From acrylic paintings to digital art to tiny drawings, I’ve been a busy bee! Here’s the buzz of I’ve been up to and what’s on the horizon:

Open Studios

You’re invited to visit me and my art at Open Studios at Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery’s (AUFS) on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd, from 10 am to 4 pm.

This year is AUFS’s 10th anniversary! Because of this milestone, there will be special deals, discounts, and raffles. In my studio, spend $10 or more and be entered into a raffle to win an art bundle of prints, cards, and a tiny painting.

I hit one year on Patreon in March! 🎉 I’m proud to have consistently made art, had modest growth with subscribers, and evolved the rewards when new ideas, like ACEOs, were developed.

Card Club members of my Patreon received the following art card in March, with the Collector members receiving both the card and an ACEO:

March seemed the perfect time to share this space-themed art because of the new film adaptation of Project Hail Mary, based on the book by Any Weir. (I loved them both!) Space art is so fun to explore and something I’ll always return to.

For April’s card, I did something new. I sent a postcard!

The art is of a digital paining of a post-human future where nature has reclaimed our planet. I love post-apocalyptic world-building. Don’t be surprised if you see more on this subject matter down the line!

Though not post-apocalyptic in nature, the ACEOs sent in April were urban sketches of bookstores (a setting where I often find dystopian reads).

Typewriter

Because I love vintage technology, I decided it was time to invest in a new (to me) typewriter. This orange Adler Junior typewriter from the seventies was purchased from a collector in the Netherlands. It types beautifully and matches my brand color!

I’ve been using it for the notes that I send to my Patreon subscribers with their rewards and to anyone who purchases my work online. 🧡
